The International Institute of Personal Development (Pty) Ltd is a registered institute, positioned to deliver training on different personal development courses such as emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, leadership development, time and life management, professionalism, business etiquette, self esteem and assertiveness to mention a few.

 

The institute aims to bridge the gap of intellectual literacy in Africa among teenagers and young adults by empowering them to discover, develop, release, and maximize their inherent potentials for maximum productivity in their daily life and in the corporate world.  The school headquarter is situated in the heart of South Africa, Johannesburg with our international consultant in Lagos, Nigeria.

 

Registered with “The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission” of South Africa with the registration number 2015/146436/07. Our facilitators are well trained and versatile in all spheres human development. They include Daniel Cole, a renowned international motivational speaker, personal development coach and author.

Flexible arrangements are made for international students who intend to travel down to South Africa to run the program. The institute helps them in their traveling documentations and other basic logistics.   

 

CONFLICT RESOLUTION

Conflict is always around us because we live in an imperfect world and we relate with imperfect people. Sometimes, our personal or professional relationship hit the rock probably because of ignored feelings, resentment, anger, misconception, perception or differences in values. 

There are skills to resolving conflict and this course introduce learners to basic conflict resolution principle. It explains the better side of conflict and how it can be tackled.

BUSINESS ETIQUETTE & PROFESSIONALISM

IIn the corporate world, professionalism is a non-negotiable attributes of any individual, either employee or employer. Starting from how we dress to work, how we speak to clients or prospects on phone and our general interactions with our co-workers. This course explains the fundamentals and common practices of professionalism and business etiquette.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Every human activities is directly or indirectly connected to his/her emotions. We are all emotional being and our actions everyday is influenced by how we feel at a certain point in time. EI is important in the workplace, it is important for basic living, its important for social interaction and many more. This Course introduces learners on how to function best in a corporate environment or social gathering by bein emotionally intelligent.

STRESS & WORKLIFE BALANCE

Life is full of activities, and every activities demands a certain amount of energy input. Howeever, our inability to keep a balance of our worklife and energy input always result in stress.
This course help learners to understand the basic principles and methods on how to create a balance between worklife and stress.

CRITICAL THINKING

Critical thinking is a skill that need to be developed and mastered. Oftentimes, when our thought is been executed and it doesn't produce the anticipated result, we often say "what was i thinking"

The greatest asset any leader can have is people, because it is the people that will bring the dream to reality. It is important for leaders to develop potential leaders because it helps to increase the success level of leadership as a whole.

Leadership is knowing the way while leadership development is showing the way. This course opens the mind of learners to different levels of leadership and how it can be developed.

TIME AND LIFE MANAGEMENT

Life is measured in time and that's why we call it lifetime. Time is the only thing we have in exchange for anything we want in life. Time not well managed is a life  not well managed. We either spend time, waste time or invest time. There are principles to time and life management and this course explains how time can be well managed.

Public speaking is an art of delivering a speech in front of an audience. Speaking in front of a group takes a lot of courage and preparation. You need the skills to be a good public speaker. This course helps learners to embrace the art of public speaking. It is a career to be pursued and there are skills needed to make success out of it.

OVERCOMING
PERFECTIONISM

Perfectionist are people "whose standards are way beyond reach or reason" and who strain compulsively or unremittingly toward impossible goals and who measure their worth entirely in term of productivity and accomplishments". Their main drive is to avoid failure. This course teaches learners how perfectionism can be overcome.
