EVERYDAY IS A GIFT

Every day of our life is a gift from God. We should realize that each day spent is a day we are never going to get back. People can refund our money but they can never refund the time we spent with them. We either go through each day enjoying it or enduring it. God is not responsible for how we leave each day; he gave us as a gift. Many live through life complaining, resenting, and being negative or feeling despondence. Sometimes, we can’t control the activities that life throws at us but we can definitely choose our responses. If we cannot control the wind we should adjust ourselves.

Many go through life bitter because of delayed expectations. We shouldn’t allow delayed expectations to steal our joy. An unfulfilled promise doesn’t really worth our joy. Sometimes, people make promises when they are highly emotional and whenever there is an emotional swing what really interest them couple of minutes ago may not interest them again. It is dangerous to be victims of people emotions and feelings.

If your day brings you a lemon, make lemonade. If your day brings you a dung, make a manure and if your day brings you disappointments, learn a lesson. No matter what life throws at you, you can handle it. It is not what happens to us that matters it is how we respond. Enjoy each day because you will never get it back.
